Whatever brings you to seeking support, I have the privilege of hearing your story, providing validation, emotional support, guidance and strategies to support your individual goals. With over 10 years in the Social Work field, I have supported a diverse population including youth, young adults, couples and individuals.
I specialize in getting to know you, and believe that therapeutic relationship is one of strongest determinants of engagement and successful change within therapy. Through acknowledgement that no individual is the same, I draw from a variety of modalities, including CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness to best support your individualized goals.

I offer a holistic and client-centred approach for individuals seeking counselling for their varying needs. I am equipped to support clients and contribute to a treatment plan, goals and outcomes, providing motivation to aid individuals within a therapeutic environment. With a previous diploma in child and youth work, I have experience working with individuals ages 11 and up within various community settings.
I offer compassion and encouragement to clients seeking positive change and growth within their lives. Utilizing a collaborative and non-judgmental approach, I draw from various treatment modalities to assist each client in navigating through their unique needs and challenges.
Heather has successful completed Gottman Level 1 certification, a pillar in supporting couples through their therapy experience.
